With all types of warehouse, the ends of the runs of racking is where most of the serious racking impact can occur because of their exposed positions.  

Often, full pallets are stored close to the ends of the runs in a cross aisle and this leads to congestion in this area. Fork lift trucks then “cut” the corners when accessing the storage aisles and can catch the front post of the exposed frame. If this happens, not only is the driver at risk, but those employees and product in the cross aisle are exposed to danger.  

Our heavy duty end of row barriers address this risk and are designed with strength at the end to properly protect the end frame from incidental fork lift truck impact. 

The barriers are available in different designs and widths to suit the racking dimensions, from 1050mm (single) to 2500mm (double). 

To minimise the effect of the barriers in congested aisles, we offer the “slimline” version where the heavy duty footplate is designed to be inset into the racking frame space saving up to 200mm on a typical aisle. 

Barriers have a wet paint finish BS381c 309 Canary yellow with black post PVC inserts. This gives a high impact visibility with the touch up paint being easily available.
