New warehouse protects all welded racking frames
As part of a new acquisition, a major 3rd party distribution company inherited an entire warehouse of high bay welded Redirack pallet racking which was accessed by traditional reach trucks as well as a dedicated narrow aisle section.
The cost of replacing each of the welded frames when damage occurred was so high that a management decision was taken to protect every exposed upright within the wide aisle racking with CombiGuards. Although this represented a significant capital investment, the operation will provide cost savings in the short term and benefit from the removal of risk to the employees through racking damage.
