Column Guards
Column guards are essential in protecting your racking where activities are so intensive that the risk of racking upright damage is high. This is often in fast picking zones, poorly designed turning areas or simply at the ends of rows. HSG76 recommends that column guards are used wherever racking can be hit by MHE.
Most modern warehouses use some form of CombiGuards to new and existing racking as standard.
The standard RPM Column Guards are available in 3 and 5mm thick steel and are fitted to the floor with 4 x M12 fixings. These are suitable for all types of footplate whether front or side fixing.
Our column guards are painted in bright yellow to ensure that the fork lift truck drivers are able to see them clearly even in poorly lit warehouses.
Budget CombiGuard
